Kris Rayen · in brief

I take over responsibility for a change an organisation cannot complete on its own.

Organisations bring me in when a change is too large to simply take on alongside everything else, or when nobody internally can carry it across its full width.

When organisations call

Usually in one of these two situations.

01

The owner wants to step back

The organisation has to become transferable. Decisions, relationships and day-to-day steering cannot keep resting on one diary.

02

A change is on the table that is too big for the people in place

A reorganisation, an integration after an acquisition, a new system that touches the way people work. The plan is there; the capacity to carry it is not.

What I take on

Design and leadership in one assignment.

A change like that asks for two things at once that rarely sit in the same pair of hands: the design of structure, working practice and collaboration, and the leadership that puts it in place and gets people moving. Keep those apart and you are left with a plan.

I take on both as one assignment: the diagnosis, the design of structure and working practice and the strengthening of collaboration, and then leading it through myself until it works. With final responsibility for the result.

I have carried every part of an organisation myself, not as an adviser but as the person responsible. That lets me judge, decide and adjust in each domain on my own.

  • Form 1

    Interim general management

Taking on the line temporarily, with final responsibility over people, resources and decisions.

  • Form 2

Leading the transformation alongside the leadership in place

Designing and implementing as one whole, including the direction of the multidisciplinary work.

  • In both cases, the responsibility moves to me.

A first conversation

Is this happening in your organisation?

Let us talk it through. A conversation about your situation, with no strings attached, and about what we could mean for each other.
